The Summer Table!

I'm a big Today Show fan, if you can't tell. This morning the Today Show featured a summer table full of spicy corn, chopped salad, and sweet bread! This weekend I will be trying this at my dinner table. Please click on the highlighted link below to be directed to this mouth watering summer table! By the way, this was provided via Pati's Mexican Table bog,!!!!

My hubby's Auto Mechanic Blog for your car questions

If you have any auto mechanic questions about your car or your friends car, please ask the Alien Auto Mechanic by clicking on his GRAB BUTTON at the bottom of my page! He knows what he's talking about, as he is the only one who works on my car! And if you really find it helpful, please grab his button and put it on your page to help others!

Bobbie's Buzz on the Today Show!

On the Today Show this morning, Bobbie's Buzz spotlighted some adorable spot on fashion trends that you can do yourself at home for little to nothing! A lace table cloth was her first demonstration. Turning it into a darling bathing suit cover up. Vintage lace table cloths and even curtain pullers can be sewn onto a simple T-shirt or an overlay onto a skirt to add that extra sazz. Did you know you can even use paperclips and duct tape to make tribal necklaces or enhance a belt. She has all kinds of ideas on this segment! It's a must see!

Old Fashion Tea Cakes

One of my favorite cookies is the simple tea cake. My dad used to make them in his pizza restaurant and I would love to eat them until I couldn't eat anymore. They were so good.

Beautiful Cookies Old Fashion Tea Cakes

Cream shortening and sugar, add egg, salt and vanilla. Sift baking soda, cream of tartar and flour, add to other mixture. Place teaspoonful on cookie sheet; press crisscross marks into cookie with a fork. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookies. I baked the cookies 12 min. and they were just perfect.

Anne Julie Art

Once I stumbled upon Anne Julie's art blog,,  I found myself visiting it and just looking at her art on a regular basis. It's cute and whimsical with a dark undertone bairly scratching the surface in some of her works, while in others, it is painstakingly obvious.
